House of HopeChildren's Home
Kitale Family House of Hope Children’s Home was founded in 2008 as a rescue center for orphaned and displaced children in response to the post-election violence in Kenya.
- About us
We are a registered non-governmental, faith-based children’s home in Kenya committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and reintegrating vulnerable children. Our mission is to safeguard the rights, dignity, and development of children who are orphaned, abandoned, neglected, abused, living on the streets, or young mothers in crisis.
We provide holistic child care including shelter, food, education, emotional support, and spiritual guidance ensuring every child has a chance to grow in a safe, loving environment. Additionally, we have a Home-Based Support and Care Program at Kitale Family House of Hope which helps 258+ vulnerable children access education while staying within their family environment instead of at the institution. This program provides essential school support including uniforms, stationery, and school supplies along with nutritious food for both the child and their household.
